Lisa Schmid studied Sociology at the University of Mannheim (B.A.) and the University of Cologne (M.Sc.). From October 2014 to March 2020, she was employed as a research associate at the University of Cologne. Since October 2019, Lisa Schmid is a research associate at GESIS, initially in the project "Harmonizing and synthesizing partnership histories from different research data infrastructures" (HaSpaD) and since April 2020 in the Family Surveys team, DRS. In her PHD thesis she investigated determinants of marital stability in Germany (doctorate in 2021).
